আনারস খুব উপাদেয় ফল। এর মধ্যে রয়েছে ভিটামিন এ এবং সি। রয়েছে ক্যালসিয়াম,পটাশিয়াম ও ফসফরাস। আর দুধকে আমরা সুষম খাদ্য হিসেবে বিবেচনা করি। তবে আনারস আর দুধ একসঙ্গে খেলে মানুষ বিষক্রিয়া হয়ে মারা যায়-এ রকম একটি ধারণা প্রচলিত আছে। বাড়ির বয়োজ্যেষ্ঠরা অনেক সময় ছোটদের এ খাবার একসঙ্গে খেতে নিষেধ করেন। তবে আসলেই কি এ রকম হয়? আসুন জেনে নিই আসলে কী হয় আনারস আর দুধ একসঙ্গে খেলে। বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মেডিসিন বিভাগের ডিন অধ্যাপক ডা. এ বি এম আবদুল্লাহ বলেন, ‘আনারস ও দুধ একসঙ্গে খেলে বিষক্রিয়া হয়ে কেউ মারা যায় এই ধারণা ভুল। এগুলো এক ধরনের ফুড ট্যাবু বা খাদ্য কুসংস্কার।’

বৌ-শাশুড়ির সমস্যা প্রায় প্রতি ঘরেই দেখা যায় বেশ আগে থেকেই। যদিও পৃথিবী যতো আধুনিক হচ্ছে মানুষের মানসিকতাও অনেক আধুনিক হচ্ছে। তবুও অনেকে এখনও এতোটা আধুনিক হয়ে উঠতে পারেন নি যে একজন শাশুড়ি তার ছেলের বউকে নিজের মেয়ের মতো ভেবে তার জন্য চিন্তা করবেন। কিছু ক্ষেত্রে উল্টোটাও ঘটে। অনেক মেয়েই শাশুড়িকে নিজের মায়ের মতো ভাবতে পারেন না। তবে সমস্যা যাই হোক না কেন, যারা ভালো মনের মানুষ তারা দুজন দুজনের মন পাওয়ার জন্য চেষ্টা করে যান। তবে ঘরের বউদের বলছি শাশুড়ির মন পাওয়ার জন্য এমন কিছু করে বসবেন না যাতে হিতে বিপরীত হয়ে যায়। এইসকল কাজ করলে বরং মন পাওয়ার চাইতে উল্টোটাও ঘটতে পারে।
